Chartered in 1983, the Prescott Evening Lions has 20 to 30 members who focus on actively serving our local community, working with youth, and having fun in the process. We serve our community by:

Assisting at such annual events as the Prescott Rodeo, Lions Pancake Breakfast and White Cane Days;

Performing roadside cleanup on a section of Williamson Valley Road; and

Collecting used eyeglasses and hearing aids, and providing eyeglass and hearing exams.

In support of needy members of our community, we provide financial support to local organizations that support children and families in need. We provide direct support to needy families or individuals in cases of accidents or serious medical emergencies.

In mid-2011, the Prescott Evening Lions returned thousands of dollars to the community in the form of financial grants. Among those receiving funds were: Boys & Girls Clubs, Boy Scouts, Grants to You, Stepping Stones, and many others.

Fundraising projects for the Prescott Evening Lions include sales of our ever-popular Dining and Entertainment Coupon Book, the Lions White Cane Days, Bowling for Kids, and a fall variety show event for area children.

Our club sponsors the Young Lions Club at Tri-City Prep High School, located north of Prescott at Pioneer Parkway and Side Road. The high school students and YLC members focus on volunteer work, helping children, the elderly, and the environment.
